May Favourites

My favourites of May!

So as we are all aware May is over!!! This is particularly exciting for me as this means that all my as level exams are finished! ***WOOO!!!!!!*** (excited dance)
Since we are already 3 days into the month of June I thought I would update you on what I have been loving throughout May!

Barry M nail varnish in the colour 'Coral'

I have been loving wearing this colour on my nails, its a gorgeous orangey-coral colour and was definitely good at brightening up the dull English weather that we had for the majority of May. Even though the weather was not reflecting the fact that it was in actually Spring I decided to reflect the season through my nails! As well as being such a pretty colour, this nail varnish lasts on my nails for ages and doesn't break the bank at £2.99.

Les Miserbales DVD
Oh em geeeee! I cannot even describe how much i love this DVD!!! Ever since I saw it at the cinema I have been OBSESSED with it! As soon as I could I pre-ordered it on Amazon (haha). I'm not exactly sure how many times I have watched this DVD over the month of May, but I can be sure I cannot count it on two hands (I told you I'm obsessed!). I love every single member of the cast, and don't even get me started on the songs! They are definitely in the 'Most played' playlist in my ipod! Anyone who has not seen this DVD has no idea what they are missing, in my opinion in is definitely a must see for everyone!

Thumb ring from River Island

Thumb ring from River Island

I am a huge ring girl, with my collection ever increasing! One of my ring purchases last month was this little thumb ring from River Island, I have been wearing it pretty much every single day! I think the little hearts on it are soooo cute and for a cheaper ring so far I have experienced no transfer of colour! I would definitely recommend trying out River Island's rings to any other ring lovers!

Knotted ring from H&M
Knotted ring from H&M

This is another of my ring purchases from last month, it's a little knotted dirty-gold ring from H&M. H&M is a definite staple shop for me when it comes to browsing for affordable jewelry, they do some fab items and I rarely leave without buying something! I love this ring, its very simple and looks very pretty on its own, the colour is a bit different from my other rings which is what initially attracted me! I have had lots of compliments on this ring from friends and it will definitely be staying as part of my everyday jewelry.

Taylor Swift 'Wonderstruck' perfume

This is such a cute little perfume, I purchased it after my Tresor Midnight Rose perfume ran out, when my finances were a little sparse and considering the affordable price its such a lovely scent! It is quite a sweet fruity but also floral smell, which lasts pretty much all day! The little bottle is possibly my favourite part of this perfume, its so cute! It reminds me for some reason of Princess Jasmine from Disney's Aladdin (haha no idea why?). But if you're looking for a affordable, lovely smelling perfume I would definitely recommend nipping into your nearest drugstore and giving this a sniff!

Rimmel Lipstick by Kate Moss in colour 107

Rimmel Lipstick by Kate Moss in colour 107

This has without a doubt been my most worn lipstick throughout the month of May! I'm not usually one for such a dark vampy red colour, but when I Zoella wearing this in one of her youtube videos I knew I had to have it! It is a bit different and I love the way it looks on, I really think it is a colour that could suit everyone! It has a very creamy texture, stays put throughout the day and is very affordable at around £5.99 (something like that?). The only downside is that it makes it very obvious if your lips are a bit on the dry side! But I would definitely tell anyone to give this lippy a go (along with a good lip moisturising routine)

Tresemme Keratin Smooth deep conditioner

I am a bit picky when it comes to my deep conditioners, especially with my newly ombred hair (post on my ombre hair coming soon!). I like any deep conditioners I use to have a nice smell, this might be because of my extremely over sensitive nose but I judge them first by their smell! The smell of this product really reminds be of going to the heairdressers, which makes me feel really relaxed and pampered when putting it on my hair. Also, I don't like it to be too gloopy in texture or it can be very messy to get out of the pot and onto your hair and the texture of this product is a bit more creamy which I loved! This product makes my hair very soft, I only apply it to my ends as I don't want to increase the chance to my roots becoming greasy, also I have noticed that my hair looks even healthier and thicker since using this product. So again I would recommend for everyone to give Tresemme Keratin Smooth a whirl, to give your hair a treat!

I hope anyone that decides to try any of these products loves them as much as I have!

Thanks for reading!!!
